Project Managers coordinateand deliver multiple, simultaneousfire alarm/lifesafety and security systems projects of various complexities, whichcontributestocreatingsafer environments in critical institutions such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. As a Project Manager, y our fiscal and managerial oversight across all project facets ensures client satisfaction, effective resource allocation, and safe,timelycompletion of projects.

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions,establishingcomprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team whileidentifyingcrucial installation timelines
  • Oversee the procurement of supplies and materialsrequiredfor project completion, and activelyparticipatein project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency
  • Assist the Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with the project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring adherence to safety regulations
  • Conduct orientations for project technicians,providingall necessary project documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application-engineered diagrams
  • Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any eventsimpactingthe schedule, scope, and overall efficiency;identifyand pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders
  • Manage project-specific billing coordination with theaccountingteam and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources,expeditethe return of mark-ups for as-built development, and ensuretimelycompletion of project-specific close-out documentation

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • 2+yearsofexperiencein the commercial Fire Alarm/Life Safety, Security Systems or a closely related construction industry
  • Must be able todemonstrateknowledgeoflocal and national (NFPA) Fire Alarmcodes and regulationsas well as theabilityto read and understand drawings and specificationsandelectrical, network,and control wiring diagrams
  • Experience withMicrosoft Officeand Microsoft Project
  • Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
