About the Role

We're looking for experienced, talented Project Managers to join our growing team. If you're a seasoned construction professional looking for diverse projects, a high-performing and supportive team, and the opportunity to grow within an employee-owned organization this role is a great fit.

We have an immediate opening for a permanent, full-time Project Manager based out of our St. Albert office.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour shifts | Office-based with regular site presence

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of complex commercial projects from inception through to closeout
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other construction professionals to deliver on project goals
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to ensure quality and adherence to schedule
  • Handle planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout managing all project phases effectively
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to grow the business
  • Align project outcomes with client expectations and company standards
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on safety at all stages, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Uphold and promote ACL's brand values and reputation in all project dealings

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum CET or P.Eng. (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
  • Minimum 5 years of direct Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role; experience in a mid-sized company is preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing construction crews and coordinating multi-trade projects
  • Experience in both public and private sector contracting is considered an asset
  • Federal Top Secret Security Clearance is considered an asset (not required)
  • Strong time management skills you can handle competing demands without losing focus
  • Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • High level of client service and interpersonal professionalism
  • In-depth technical knowledge of: building envelope systems, pre-engineered buildings, design-build contracts, public tender and prequalification processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment
