Job Title

Flex Security Officer

Job Description

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex Security Officers in the Jackson, MI area. All shifts are available. These positions offer a pay rate of $18/hr, paid weekly.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

Job Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous Security Officer experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to complete drug screen and background check.
  • Must be flexible and team oriented.
  • Previous truck experience is a plus.
Education Requirements (All)

High School diploma or equivalent
