You will own cross-team coordination, dependency management, and delivery tracking across three parallel programs: securing AHS GenAI applications in production, hardening the AI-SDLC for AHS builders, and driving adoption of AI-powered security tooling that scales protection across healthcare verticals.
Working closely with HealthSec security engineers, AHS AI application builders, product teams, and cross-org stakeholders (AWS Bedrock, AppSec), you will ensure programs deliver on time while navigating complex dependencies across multiple external teams. You will manage escalations with senior leadership, drive stakeholder alignment, and maintain delivery across initiatives that directly impact HIPAA compliance, Amazon security bar, and AHS builder productivity.
Key job responsibilities
Plan, implement, and deliver AI security programs across HealthSec AI initiatives, collaborating with security engineers, product managers, business owners, and senior leadership to align with strategic vision and goals.
Own successful delivery of impactful, cross-functional program initiatives across multiple external teams while simultaneously tracking multiple team goals and projects.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technical and non-technical teams; drive escalation and alignment with executive leadership across multiple organizations.
Drive cross-functional planning by working closely with engineering leads to develop security feature plans, including roadmaps, dependency identification, and resourcing plans.
Manage programs across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules; drive security review process improvements to reduce cycle times and unblock launches.
Facilitate application security reviews and privacy reviews with appropriate stakeholder teams; coordinate compliance activities with HIPAA and Amazon security policies; coordinate pilot programs and adoption rollouts for AI security tooling across 1,106+ AHS builders.
Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms (MBR, QBR, flash reports) for measuring security posture and program health across all initiatives.
Drive, mature, and improve organizational AI security program processes; identify trends and insights to innovate and find better ways of engaging AHS builder customers.
