Job description

  • Responsible for managing the implementation of very large, strategic and complex integration programs.
  • Provides overall leadership and support to one or more program or project teams.
  • Acts as front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks.
  • Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements. 
  • Interfaces with C-Suite Executives and Business Unit Leaders, Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other financial measures, and with Purchasing, develops POs, and manages suppliers and vendor relationships.
  • Manages stakeholders' communication.
  • Plans the overall program and monitors the progress and performs daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
  • Defines the program governance (controls).
  • Manages the programs budget and financial performance.
  • Coordinates the programs and their interdependencies.
  • Manages and utilizes resources across programs and projects.
  • May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Oversees a larger collection of projects that may be considered a sub-portfolio in nature, may manage multiple programs/projects and related program/project managers.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

SKILLS

  • Must have excellent product, program and project management skills and demonstrated technical acumen, and industry knowledge.
  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites.
  • Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.
  • An independent problem-solver that can make high quality judgements and decisions quickly with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, with Senior Executive Level reporting and escalation experience.
  • Solid foundation on latest technologies to be able to understand service interdependences and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems a plus.
  • An understanding of software engineering practices including design, code quality, data structures, technical problem-solving a plus.
  • Led complex technical projects with aggressive schedules.
  • Experience with cross geographical project coordination and management.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management and M&A integration experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions preferred
  •  

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors' degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

  • PMP preferred but not required with related hands-on delivery, integration experience.

  • Total Rewards:  We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $138,600-$190,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
