Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for a Processing Specialist II position in Monterey Park, CA. This is a great opportunity to further your existing operations and processing skills while learning new ones to advance your career.   • Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Days off: Sunday and Wednesday)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex sorting, reject decisioning, and processing of non-standard or rejected transactions.

  • Pull rejected transactions using reports and processing audit trails, then sort and process items according to established procedures.

  • Operate high-speed mail extraction and scanning equipment, including OPEX 150 machines, while following client-specific processing instructions.

  • Accurately process transactions and maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Assist with training team members as needed and support operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to read, analyze information, and make decisions accurately.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet established productivity and accuracy standards.

  • Ability to adapt to changing processes and learn new procedures quickly.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Prior processing, production, mailroom, or related operations experience preferred.

  • Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
