Job description

At Analogic, we create life-changing technology that helps protect people, improve safety, and support mission-critical operations around the world. We are seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead our globalย enterprise security operationsย and help protect theย corporate IT systems, data, and infrastructure that power the businessย behind our advanced imaging, detection, power, and automation solutions. This is an opportunity to join a technology company with nearly six decades of innovation, a growing global footprint, and a meaningful mission across aviation security, medical, industrial, and scientific markets.

In this role, you will lead day-to-day technical security operations across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and data environments in the U.S., U.K., and other internationa locations. You will partner closely with IT, Compliance, Infrastructure, Engineering team, and external security providers to strengthen our enterprise security posture, improve operational resilience, and support a government-contracting environment where reliability, auditability, and disciplined execution matters.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, solving complex security challenges, building effective processes, mentoring analysts, and turning operational security priorities into clear action.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Lead Global Cybersecurity Operations

  • Lead the day-to-day operational security posture across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and data environments.
  • Establish and track meaningful security KPIs/KRIs, including mean time to detect/respond, patch and vulnerability SLAs, and endpoint coverage.
  • Oversee a modern security toolset and key vendor partnerships, including MDR, EDR, IAM/PAM, web and email security, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Implement technical controls and produce operational evidence that supports NIST SP 800-171/CUI audit and assessment requirements.

Strengthen Identity, Access, and Endpoint Security

  • Own IAM/PAM operations, including role-based access, access reviews, and privileged-access enforcement for administrators.
  • Oversee conditional access, directory design, and secure identity lifecycle management.

Drive Vulnerability Management and Secure Configuration

  • Ensure comprehensive EDR coverage across workstations, servers, and Linux systems.
  • Lead vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and continuous improvement of vulnerability management practices.
  • Implement secure configuration baselines, including CIS Benchmarks, in partnership with Compliance.

Partner Across Network, Cloud, and Data Security

  • Provide security oversight for network architecture and cloud environments, including segmentation and firewall governance, in partnership with Infrastructure and Network/Firewall teams.
  • Set security standards for cloud environments used by Engineering and partner with Infrastructure to ensure practical, effective implementation.
  • Support data classification, DLP, and retention initiatives in close partnership with Compliance.

Improve Monitoring, Response, and Resilience

  • Lead 24/7/365 security monitoring and incident response, supported by MSSP coverage, to detect, analyze, and respond to real-time threats.
  • Lead tabletop exercises, support security awareness and phishing-simulation programs, and coordinate the annual penetration-test cycle.
  • Align operational practices to recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF and ITIL to support consistent, auditable security service delivery.

Build and Develop the Team

  • Manage, mentor, and develop cybersecurity analysts focused on IAM, vulnerability management, SecOps alerts, incident response, and security tooling.
  • Help shape and maintain the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap in partnership with Compliance and IT leadership, translating operational priorities into clear executive updates.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • U.S. Person status required due to government-contracting requirements; security clearance may be required.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with an infrastructure or operations focus, including 2+ years of people leadership or team leadership experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, CIS Controls, and secure technical control implementation.
  • Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, GSE, CASP+, or CCNP Security preferred or in progress.
  • Hands-on experience with modern security tooling across MDR/EDR, IAM/PAM, web and email security, and vulnerability managementโ€”not solely policy-level familiarity.

Preferred Experience

  • Aviation or defense/government-contracting industry experience.
  • Experience with tenant-to-tenant identity migration (e.g., M&A carve-out or divestiture).
  • Hands-on Windows/Linux (Red Hat), networking, databases, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
