OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager is responsible for partnering with the plant leadership team a to ensure that all operations-related policies and processes are properly executed and adhered to at their facility and be responsible for analyze and improve operational processes to facilitate productivity, efficiency, safety and quality. The Operations Manager should be dedicated to creating a safe environment where team members understand and observe Android's values.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee all operational launch activities
  • Cultivate culture, encourage, quality, safety, and growth opportunities
  • Coordinate and design of plant production area
  • Lead by example: on the floor, coaching, mentoring
  • Ensure the teams have the tools to perform their jobs
  • Oversight of manufacturing assembly operation
  • Achieving Daily production requirement sequencing, delivery, and quality for the entire plant, Directs, guides & motivates to reach plant goals and objectives
  • Lead and develop shift managers
  • Build and manage relationships
  • Oversight of team member on the Job Training
  • Manage overtime within budget
  • Support and lead projects
  • Collaborate with other departments
  • Adhere to Quality philosophies and policies
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring team member retention
  • Coordinate activities and communication opportunities to build and maintain team member morale
  • Maintain communication flow regarding pertinent information such as company announcements and policy changes
  • Communicate across all departments to ensure targets are on schedule
  • Ensure compliance to the development plans, for example training plans and performance reviews
  • Assess the team members' strengths and weaknesses, understand the skills gaps, and recommend learning and growth opportunities
  • Create and facilitate trainings and materials, coach and collaborate with other content creators

  • Actively participate in Kata, CAS, CI initiatives and daily 5S activities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • 8+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior management experience preferred

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to diagnose problems and make decisions
  • Demonstrated use of data-based decision making and problem solving (PDCA, Pareto Charts, 8Ds, 5 Why, Budget, Forecast, Key Performance Indicators)
