Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking a professional and customer-focused Access Control Specialist to support security operations in Homestead, Florida. This position plays a key role in maintaining facility security through access control operations, visitor management, database administration, and customer service support while helping protect government personnel, facilities, and assets. 

  • The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a security-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with government personnel, employees, visitors, and VIPs while supporting mission-critical access control and security administration functions. 

**The shift for this position will be primarily for weekends. Must be able to work night and day shifts.**


Responsibilities
  • Provide access control services through centralized access control operations and monitoring activities. 

  • Monitor facility entrances and exits using access control and video surveillance systems. 

  • Verify access authorizations and ensure compliance with established security procedures. 

  • Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, VIPs, and government personnel. 

  • Support visitor management and facility entry processes. 

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and security-related documentation. 

  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and related systems to track and manage access control activities. 

  • Safeguard government-furnished equipment, information, and property. 

  • Support security operations by maintaining accurate logs and operational records. 

  • Assist with emergency preparedness initiatives and participate in evacuation drills as required. 

  • Communicate effectively with security personnel and stakeholders regarding access-related issues. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting access control, facility security, or security administration activities at government facilities or installations. 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government agencies. 

  • Familiarity with security clearance adjudication processes. 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing customer service and records/database management in a Department of Defense environment. 

  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense network environments, including SIPRNet and NIPRNet. 

  • Active Secret clearance required. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting access control operations for Department of Defense or federal government facilities. 

  • Experience utilizing security databases, visitor management systems, or access control platforms. 

  • Experience monitoring electronic security systems or surveillance systems. 

  • Experience interacting with senior government officials, VIPs, and visitors. 

  • Additional experience supporting security administration programs. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
