To become a security officer, candidates typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, and some roles require security training or certification such as a guard card. Employers often prefer candidates with good communication skills, a clean background check, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Security Officers often encounter challenges such as handling unauthorized access attempts, managing conflicts or disturbances, and responding to emergencies. To address these situations effectively, it's important to remain calm under pressure, follow established protocols, and communicate clearly with both the public and colleagues.
