Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality focused Security Officer to join our Facility Services Team!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Security Officer:

  • Responsible for greeting, directing and authorizing incoming traffic.
  • Works in conjunction with the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Transportation departments when availability of staffing is limited and performs tasks as required to satisfy the residents' needs and concerns.
  • Greet all guests, visitors and employees in a courteous professional manner.
  • Performs scheduled rounds both inside and outside of the buildings to maintain a secure environment
  • Monitors and maintains scheduled security checks, walking inspections and radio requests.
  • Responsible for immediate notification of all emergencies to appropriate personnel.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Position requires a valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Requires a Class "D" Security License.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a CPR/AED certification.
  • Must be proficient using various computer applications.
