Overview
Rogue Valley Manor is Southern Oregon's premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community, offering a vibrant campus and exceptional services to nearly 1,000 residents. We are seeking a Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service to residents, guests, and team members.
What You'll Be Doing
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the campus, both on foot and by vehicle, to monitor safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, fire alarm systems, and emergency call systems, responding to alarms and escalating issues as needed.
• Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact by screening and directing residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to security activities and incidents.
• Assist staff and residents during emergencies and provide escorts during non-regular business hours when needed.
• Support traffic control and parking lot safety while helping maintain a secure campus environment.
Full Time: Sunday - Wednesday | 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
About You
• Minimum of one year of experience in security, building and grounds monitoring, or a related field.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, communication equipment, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, emergency responders, and public agencies.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
