JOB DESCRIPTION:
Account Manager
As a manager you will communicate with Security Officers, resolve issues regarding pay, morale, or complaints. Manage overtime by effectively scheduling and making hiring decisions. Take prompt action when complaints are received regarding employee conduct, administer disciplinary and coaching action, initiate, and execute routine terminations. You will be given all the support and tools you need to properly execute the role of this position.
We are seeking to interview candidates for an ON SITE client location.
Residential property , multi units, large grounds
Duties include those of a manager and knowledge of property management to work closely with the property managers and HOA board.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Create and manage schedules to always ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ensure schedules are maintained and are updated regularly.
  • Ensures all positions are staffed according to contract requirements and effectively manages overtime through proper scheduling and staffing.
  • Maintain a qualified, sufficient pool of back up officers as needed.
  • Follows all company policies regarding timekeeping procedures.
  • Conducts weekly timekeeping.
  • Process requests for pay, and issues.
  • Conducts disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Officers as needed in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Ensures all such issues are documented according to company policies, and that all issues receive proper follow up.
  • Maintains regular contact with Security Officers.
  • Reviews “No Hours/Back up officer lists” with Human Resource Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains high employee morale and low employee turnover through effective and proactive communications and timely problem resolution.
  • Ensures all hiring, counseling, disciplinary and termination procedures are executed in a consistent manner.
  • Ensures a smooth-running operation by enforcing post specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training.
  • Works with the field Supervisor’s to assist in executing post-specific training and pop up inspections.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and effective work area.
  • Prepares and runs all required reports and reviews those reports in a timely manner with the management team and takes appropriate action as necessary to address any report discrepancies or operational issues.
  • Performs additional projects or tasks as may be directed by managers.
  • Interacts with Clients on a weekly basis or more as needed.
  • Visits Client locations weekly and regularly.
  • Ensures all areas of the client contract are met such as post orders, payment terms, invoicing, and equipment.
  • Runs AR reports and remains current on all revenue due from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each duty. The requirements listed below are,
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or experience in security management.
  • College degree or college classes a plus.
  • Experience in managing employees and schedules.
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry preferred.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations, and employee management preferred.
  • Must have, or be willing to get, a valid New York state security guard license.
  • As a condition of employment, you will be subject to a drug test.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Able to write reports, conduct investigations and counseling.
  • Must be able to communicate, counsel, and discipline, as well as terminate employees in a professional manner.
  • Having knowledge of computers and software is mandatory.
  • Ability to use various timekeeping and payroll programs.
  • Must be able to de-escalate situations.
  • Must be able to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects as well as manage deadlines.
  • Must be able to achieve goals with all work around solutions by thinking accordingly.
  • Must have communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English.
