Looking to hire for Unarmed On-Call Flex Officers in Riverside & Fontana surrounding areas.
Riverside, Fontana, Inland Empire Areas.
AEGIS Security & Investigations is hiring experienced unarmed security officers for multiple Cannabis Dispensaries in the Inland Empire.
This position focuses on crime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and guests.
Immediate openings available.
Job Duties
The primary roles are crime and violence prevention and customer service.
Security Officers may be responsible for the following:
  • Assist with physical security functions and personal safety measures for clients
  • Patrol the work site on foot for the duration of the shift, or as instructed, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all property entry points
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, missing equipment, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Perform access control procedures by monitoring and regulating the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
  • Guard against theft and maintain security of the premises
  • Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms
  • Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property through crowd control measures
  • Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting local law enforcement or other first responders
  • Conduct pat-down searches or metal detector screening when required
  • Communicate and enforce applicable laws, policies, and site codes
  • Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, clients, employees, and visitors at the work site

All job offers are initially for unarmed security positions with AEGIS Security & Investigations.
Employees who possess a valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and pepper spray permit may qualify for armed assignments when available and approved.
Minimum Requirements
  • 1-4 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement
  • Valid California Guard Card (BSIS)
  • Completion of 40 hours BSIS training and most recent annual refresher
  • Own a black business suit, white dress shirt, black tie, belt, socks, and dress shoes or polished boots
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctual attendance
  • Smartphone with texting, internet access, and email

For Armed Officers (when applicable)
  • Guard Card and BSIS Firearms Permit
  • Chemical agent permit

Pay, Schedule & Perks
$17-$19/hr depending on experience, qualifications, and assignment
Looking to hire for morning, swing and grave shifts.
Security Agents may initially work 12-50 hours per week throughout the county before moving into regular full-time assignments.
