Commercial Security Service Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday-Friday

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Security Service Technician to join a growing team supporting commercial security systems throughout North Florida and South Georgia. This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, intercom, and gate control systems.

The position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of cutting-edge physical security technologies while servicing customers in industries including healthcare, education, government, municipalities, and commercial businesses.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial security systems
  • Install and support access control, IP video surveillance (CCTV), intercom, gate control, and automatic door systems
  • Install commercial door hardware and electrified locking hardware
  • Pull low-voltage cable and install conduit in commercial environments
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues independently in the field
  • Train end users and customers on system operation and best practices
  • Complete service reports and documentation using mobile applications and technology
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for small service projects
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company on-site

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial low-voltage installation and service experience
  • Experience with access control and CCTV systems
  • Experience with intercom and gate operator/control systems
  • Conduit installation experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Professional customer service and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
