Job description

Unarmed Security Officer

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring in North Charleston SC. We are recruiting for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team. The ideal candidate will have a current SLED Guard Card, be 21 years or older, and have prior law enforcement experience, military experience, and/or 2 years of unarmed security in a plus. Full-time and part-time positions available. $17/h paid weekly. Shift: 6am-12am. Training and registration is provided. Retirees and veterans welcome.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises, reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences, when necessary, performing control procedures, operating emergency equipment, documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports, investigating breaches of property. You must meet the following requirements: excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills, sound communication skills, professional presentation, ability to work as a team member and solo, willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week, reliable transport, active cellphone, ability to pass a drug screen, must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols.
