What is a security engineer?

Security Engineers are professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and measures to protect an organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and attacks. Collaborating closely with IT, legal, and management teams helps streamline investigations and ensures comprehensive incident response. Building a strong foundation in security frameworks and maintaining continuous learning are key to overcoming these challenges.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a security incident analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Security Incident Analyst, you need a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response procedures, and often a degree in information security or related fields.
