As a Security Officer Patrol Duty in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with authorized entry procedures while maintaining a professional presence and communicating with staff, visitors, and/or public officials as needed.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate contacts and following post orders for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
