POSITION SUMMARY

As a Security Officer, you will help prevent and deter crime while maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role involves both vehicle and foot patrol of assigned parking areas and surrounding property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular and random patrols of assigned areas
  • Monitor and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety hazards
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation
  • Enforce property rules and regulations
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and alarms
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional presence
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain a New Mexico Guard Card License (licensing assistance provided)
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Reliable transportation and active cellphone
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred but not required:

  • Prior security experience
  • Military or law enforcement background
  • Customer service experience
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and patrol for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if required
  • Ability to hear and respond to alarms and emergency signals
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during emergencies
  • Must meet state licensing requirements
