JOB SUMMARY
Patrols and inspects Wildhorse Resort & Casino properties to maintain order and reports any irregularities to the security supervisor. This position operates in class III games and age or compact restrictions apply.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  2. Patrols/inspects WRC-assigned areas for irregularities or undesirable persons.
  3. Actively demonstrates safety and security measures that protect employees, guests, and WRC property.
  4. Monitors all activities for unauthorized removal of property.
  5. Promptly responds to accident/injury scene, providing first-aid and securing medical assistance as needed.
  6. Writes detailed reports on accidents, injuries, property damage, theft, and other business disruptions.
  7. Ensure inspection and maintenance of fire suppression systems.
  8. Comply with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  9. Observe and report violations of tribal, state, or federal ordinances/laws/regulations, where applicable.
  10. Inspect all areas for safety and fire hazards. Reports and logs information appropriately.
  11. Guards transfer of Casino assets.
  12. Transports employees to alcohol testing, or for medical attention as requested.
  13. Records accurate summary of daily activities.
  14. Participate in a drop team requiring physical agility and strength to maneuver heavy drop carts.
  15. Provide escort into sensitive areas for employees, visitors, and vendors on an as-needed basis.
  16. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
  17. Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  18. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  19. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:
  1. Limited authority over employees/guests about maintaining order and protection of assets.

SIGNATORY ABILITY:
  1. Fills and credits for Pit as a runner.
  2. Jackpot verification.
  3. Keys for table drop, slot drop, and Bad Beat drop.
  4. Key distribution.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:
  1. Pit area upon request.
  2. Sensitive areas upon request in compliance with internal controls and job duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Possess a valid driver's license with no history of motor vehicle-related citation or arrest conviction(s) within the last five (5) years in any state per WRC insurance requirements.
  2. Needs to manage multiple tasks simultaneously like monitoring/answering radio traffic, maintaining officer status and location logs through data input, and answering/transferring telephone calls.
  3. Needs to be familiar with and use basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  4. Demonstrate report writing skills and abilities.
  5. High School Diploma or GED or Ten years of experience.
  6. Obtain a CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
  7. Customer service experience.
  8. Effective communication skills - verbally instructs, responds to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  9. Push and maneuver heavy drop carts weighing approximately 600 lbs., for extended periods and lift to 20 lbs. Three employees' man the drop carts at all times.
  10. Needs to walk, sit, or stand for up to three (3) hours at a time for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift in a smoke-filled noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; good visual and auditory acuity.
  11. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and maintains a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  12. Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
  13. Must be at least 21 years of age.
