Colt's Manufacturing Company, LLC is looking for Second and Third Shift Armed Security Guards.
Job Summary:
The Armed Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, personnel, and visitors through vigilant surveillance and immediate response to threats. This role requires carrying a firearm and upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security of premises.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for unusual activity.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
  • Conduct security checks and enforce access control procedures.
  • Deter criminal activity through visible presence and proactive engagement.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs.
  • Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations and emergencies.
  • Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the use of firearms and force.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Valid armed security license and permits as required by state law.
  • Prior experience as a security guard or law enforcement officer is preferred.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations with professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
