LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence has been the sole resource for victims seeking shelter in Franklin County for more than four decades, providing a Temporary Emergency Shelter, 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, DV Counseling, Legal Advocacy, Peer Support Groups and more. Communicates any violations via the Unusual Incident Report procedure and informs direct supervisor.Performs exterior inspections of the CHOICES's facility via cameras to ensure the security of the building and to check for any safety concerns. Communicates any violations via the Unusual Incident Report procedure and informs direct supervisor.Accompany Shelter Advocate and Case Management staff to de-escalate any incidents and/or threats of violence utilizing techniques provided from staff training. Responds to security concerns according to CHOICES/Lutheran Social Services policies and procedures. Utilize daily log to document incidents, occurrences, and shift activity. Submit to manager and security team prior to end of shift. Proactively communicates any issues or concerns to on-coming shift Security Officer. Accompany staff when directed to conduct searches according to CHOICES policies & procedures, for Reasonable Suspicion. Escorts staff, volunteers, visitors, and other persons to and from vehicles as requested or necessary.
