As a Building Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrolling, De-escalation of situations and Report writing, since you will be working with people all shift, in a Commercial environments

Responsibilities for Building Security Security Guard
  • Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
  • Use G-track devise to conduct 4 patrols per shift. 
  • Performing External Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
  • Perform environmental checks - water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc.
  • Contact maintenance for any lighting, heating and other problems.
  • Conduct interior patrol of the building according to the schedule.
  • Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence.
  • Hourly tower tours.
  • Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches. 
  • Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
Qualifications for Building Security Guard
