Flex Security Officer / Rover – Long Beach Nigh Shift

Position Overview

Allstate Security is seeking professional and reliable Flex Security Officers / Rovers to support multiple assignments throughout the Long Beach area. This is a flexible, as-needed position for officers who are available to work various sites including retail locations, residential properties, events, and temporary assignments.

Current temporary assignments may include securing construction locations, such as a Dollar Tree site under construction, where officers will monitor the property, prevent theft, deter trespassing, and ensure no unauthorized individuals enter the area.

This role requires officers to remain alert, adaptable, and professional while maintaining a visible security presence and responding to site-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence
  • Monitor assigned locations for suspicious activity, trespassing, or theft
  • Secure temporary construction and restricted-access areas
  • Prevent unauthorized access to client properties
  • Conduct patrols of assigned locations as directed
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports accurately
  • Respond to security concerns and incidents professionally
  • Support retail, residential, and event operations as needed
  • Follow all client post orders and company procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an active BSIS Guard Card
  • Must have flexible availability and be able to work on short notice when needed
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Must be able to work independently and adapt to different assignments
  • Must pass a background check

Work Environment

This position involves working at multiple locations and adapting to changing assignments and environments. Officers should be comfortable working independently, outdoors when required, and during overnight hours.
