Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking part-time Unarmed Security Officers to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control for Aerospace in Colorado Springs, CO.
SECRET Clearance required.
COMPENSATION
$24.28/Hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
  • Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
  • Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
  • Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Must have a current Secret Clearance or Higher.
  • Must have a current guard card.
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
  • Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
  • Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
  • 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience desired.
