Your Team
Are you interested in building capabilities that enable innovation, speed, agility, scalability, and efficiency? As part of Prudential's Global Technology & Operations organization, the Information Security Governance team is building a new business intelligence capability to improve visibility into technology risk, performance, and execution.
As the Lead, Business Intelligence, Information Security Governance, you will help build this capability from the ground up. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Claude, and Copilot, you will deliver executive-ready insights, improve data quality, strengthen trust in critical metrics, and help shape a modern analytics capability that supports Information Security Governance. This is a unique opportunity to build scalable reporting solutions, establish operating standards, and influence how data and AI are used to drive decision-making across a highly visible organization.
This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis at least 3 days per week.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Build Executive Reporting, Analytics & BI Capabilities
  • Design and deliver trusted Power BI dashboards, executive scorecards, data visualizations, and AI-enabled reports that provide meaningful insights into technology risk, performance, execution, and operational priorities.

  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, including data models, reporting frameworks, metric definitions, and visualization strategies.

  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights that improve decision-making and visibility across Information Security Governance.

  • Establish reporting standards, dashboard templates, governance practices, and delivery processes that support a growing analytics capability.

Enable Data Quality, Metric Governance & Trusted Insights
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, relational data models, and reporting solutions to ensure reliable data extraction, transformation, and reporting performance.

  • Apply data governance and BI best practices to strengthen metric definitions, data lineage, consistency, quality, and stakeholder confidence.

  • Conduct testing, validation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution to ensure dashboards and reports accurately reflect business performance and risk indicators.

  • Define and maintain KPI, KRI, and reporting standards that improve transparency and trust in executive reporting.

Advance AI-Enabled Reporting & Cross-Functional Innovation
  • Leverage Copilot, Claude, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to accelerate reporting, requirements gathering, insight generation, analytics workflows, and executive communications.

  • Apply responsible AI practices, including validation, human review, and data sensitivity awareness, to ensure AI-generated outputs are accurate, secure, and actionable.

  • Partner across Information Security, Governance, Risk, Technology, Engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced analytics capabilities.

  • Collaborate with teams supporting AWS, ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Power Automate, and other enterprise technologies to improve data integration, reporting effectiveness, and user experience.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise analytics solutions using Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, data visualization, and executive insights.

  • Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, data normalization, data management, and reporting performance optimization.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and Claude to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

  • Ability to define metrics, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and influence skills, with the ability to lead through partnership across business, technology, governance, and risk teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply responsible AI practices, including validation of AI-generated outputs (Ex: Claude and Copilot), protection of sensitive information, and appropriate human oversight.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building executive dashboards, board-level reporting, governance scorecards, or leadership insights programs.

  • Experience defining KPIs, KRIs, metric governance frameworks, data lineage standards, or enterprise reporting practices.

  • Exposure to Information Security, Technology Risk, Controls, Compliance, Governance, or regulated financial services environments.

  • Experience using AI-enabled analytics, narrative generation, reporting automation, or insight summarization tools such as Copilot or Claude.
