Job description

The Utility officer will perform to standard at Marksman sites and schedules as needed to ensure tenants, visitors, and property assets remain safe and secure. As a Utility officer, you must have flexibility to be on-call 24/7. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Patrol by foot and vehicle of properties, parking garages, Class A buildings, and outdoor site. 
  • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests with the utmost courtesy and urgency.
  • Produce high-quality, clear and timely documentation of incidents and events, providing leadership with the best information for decision making.
  • Monitor  access control, CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.
  • Demonstrated  professional presence, displaying the ability to work with and communicate with stakeholders and customers at all levels, including executive leadership
  • Comfort with the use of technology, especially computer applications 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and property standards.
  • Other duties are required. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 21 years of age or older.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Strong customer service skills. 
  • Previous supervisory or lead officer experience.
  • Familiarity in report writing and basic computer systems (incident reporting, access control, CCTV).
  • Must be CPR/AED certified or able to obtain certification within 10 day of hire
  • Must be Workplace violence trained or able to obtain within 10 day of hire
  • Must be Active shooter  trained or able to obtain within 10 day of hire
  • Must have a valid GA Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background and fingerprint investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supervising multi-building or campus-style properties.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
  • Military or law enforcement background (a plus).

Pay:
$19.00/ per hour
