As a Security Officer Access Driver in Estero, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver customer service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access control practices.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, observing and reporting unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitors, deliveries, vehicles, and other access control activity in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
