What You'll Do

The Information Security Director is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and employee-related activities for the Information Security program at Freeman Health System. This includes establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy. This leader is accountable for cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations, including oversight of Cyber Security Operations and Identity and Access Management (IAM). The Information Security Director works closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise security programs.

  • Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge.

Preferred Requirements

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.

  • 5+ years leadership experience.

  • Healthcare IT experience preferred.

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
