Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Technician to join a leading Company located in the Stratford, CT surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $30 - $40

Responsibilities:

  • This position requires someone with extensive experience in aircraft wiring, specifically constructing wiring harnesses from electrical schematics.
  • The candidate also needs to have experience routing wiring harnesses in a large electronics rack and terminating to a rear disconnect panel.
  • Mechanical skills are also required to mount items on the racks.
  • Technician capable of working from engineering drawings, electrical and electronic schematics, with limited guidance to fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair equipment and test installations in support of System Integration Laboratory test facilities.
  • Must be able to fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes, and associated laboratory test equipment.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience with electronic and electrical fabrication.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
  • Previous experience working with, fabricating, and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
