Job Title: Access Control /CCTV Technician
Reports To: Office Manager orFranchise Owner
Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Access Control /CCTV Technician position is a technical role and is key to the growth of the company. The Access Control Technician position is a hands-on technical position in the field with clients. Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial access controls, wiring and surveillance cameras hardware and software knowledge and demonstrate the ability to solve problems in the field.
They are constantly learning new technology solutions in the security industry and help clients every day. They also have to service mechanical locks and doors. The technician travels to commercial clients like schools, manufacturing, churches to resolve /provide electronic access. We are seeking candidates who want to use and enhance their technical skills, continue to be part of a great working culture, learn and grow their careers and build a local community that is very secure. We have several business and community awards recognizing our work. Willing to consider qualified experienced commercial Low Voltage technicians from out of state who are able to relocate to be within the service area close to the office location.
Requirements/Responsibilities
  • 5+ years commercial access controls/CCTV experience.
  • Drive company vans to commercial clients to Inspect, install, and services all commercial access and video systems.
  • Diagnose and provide solutions with service, install and configuration of access controls, card readers, wiring, cameras, cctv hardware and software
  • Use smart phone app and computer software to check in and collect payments from clients.
  • Install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware and software and CCTV
  • Assist in installing locks, door hardware and doors.

Specific brand not required but must have access controls, surveillance cameras, wiring experience
  • Experience with specific brand systems mentioned below is useful but not all required.
  • Access Control - CDVI, Zkteco, PDK, Avigilon ACM Open path/AVA, Brivo
  • Credentials and Biometrics - card readers, smart phones, fingerprint, facial recognition, pin pad, HID
  • CCTV - Dahua, Hanhwa, Avigilon , Axis,Speco
  • Video and Audio intercoms - Aiphone, Doorbird, Speco , Dahua
  • Lock Hardware HES, GLS, Schlage, General Lock, Allegion Brands, Assa Brands, SDC Controls, Lock Retrofit Kits, Magnetic Locks, Electrified Trim Sets, Electrified Crash Bars, Electrified Strikes, Electrified Handsets, Schlage NDE, Alarmlock Trilogy
  • Networks - Install cat6 wiring, reader wiring, Testing and Termination
  • Wireless- Ubiquiti
  • Software setup of access controls and NVR based IP cameras.

  • Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs-100 lbs.
