The goal is to detect suspicious activity, respond to incidents in real-time, and ensure the safety of people and property. Remote monitoring professionals may contact emergency services, notify property owners, or take other steps based on what they observe. This role often uses specialized software to view multiple camera feeds simultaneously and may involve writing incident reports. It is essential in industries such as retail, property management, and critical infrastructure.
