About the role: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Office 365 administration, Point of Sale systems, Help Desk support, structured cabling, and troubleshooting across various operating systems and hardware. This role involves networking, camera and alarm system installation and configuration, server management, and collaboration with IT vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Office 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
  • Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS hardware and software.
  • Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Structured Cabling: Install and maintain network cabling infrastructure.
  • Operating Systems: Troubleshoot and support Windows OS and MAC OS environments.
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Networking: Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Camera Installation and Configuration: Install and configure security cameras and related software.
  • Server Installation and Configuration: Set up and manage servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Alarm Systems: Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work with IT vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Ticket Management: Track and manage IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Compensation:
  • The entry-level starting rate is $22.00-$30.00/hour, depending on level of experience.

Qualifications:
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune).
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting POS systems in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and macOS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and firewall rule management.
  • Experience with structured cabling standards and physical network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with server setup, administration (Windows Server preferred), and patch management.
  • Comfort with IP camera and alarm system installation โ€” from cable runs to software configuration.
  • A strong communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Self-directed and organized โ€” you manage your own queue and follow through without reminders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Agile and able to pivot to new tasks quickly.
  • Applicants must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit or obtain one within their first 90 days of employment.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and be accepted onto the company insurance.

Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Technician, IT Support, or Systems Administrator role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.

Work Environment:
  • Office, production facilities, and agriculture settings. Providing excellent support both remotely and through on-site visits across the organization for installations and troubleshooting.
  • We are open 365 days a year from 7 am to 10 pm, which means the staff working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Travel may be required to our facilities in Southern Oregon, Eugene/Springfield Area, California, and Ohio.
