Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA) Security Specialist - Mid

As the Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA) Security Specialist - Mid, you will provide security education, training, and awareness support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. In this role, you will help strengthen security awareness, promote compliance with security policies and procedures, and support the overall effectiveness of the security program. You will work collaboratively with government personnel, security professionals, program staff, and contractor teammates to support mission-critical security training and awareness initiatives. This position is ideal for a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting security compliance across a dynamic defense environment. In This Role, You Will:

  • Support development, coordination, and tracking security education, training, and awareness activities.
  • Assist with preparing training materials, awareness products, briefings, rosters, completion reports, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with government and contractor personnel to support training schedules, attendance, completion of tracking, and recurring data calls.
  • Maintain training records, awareness trackers, and documentation supporting security program compliance.
  • Support meetings, briefings, and communications related to security education and awareness topics.
  • Help identify training gaps and opportunities to improve security awareness across the supported organization.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience supporting security training, Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA), facility security, program security, records management, or related DoD security functions.
  • Strong presentation, writing, coordination, and customer service skills.
  • Prior experience working in a secure facility.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SAP eligibility or experience preferred.
  • This position is on-site and requires the ability to work in the Arlington, Virginia office Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
