Job description

NOW HIRING: Security Architect
Location: Remote
Experience: 5+ Years
Duration: 12 Months
Engagement Type: Contract – W2.
We are looking for an experienced Security Architect with strong hands-on expertise in security automation, Linux, IAM, and enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain Python-based security automations, scripts, APIs, integrations, and custom security tools.
• Build automated workflows for alert enrichment, incident response, triage, notifications, containment, and reporting.
• Support enterprise security platforms including IAM, DSPM, ASM, Vulnerability Management, SIEM/SOAR, XDR, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Network Security.
• Support Linux, Docker, security sensors, monitoring, and platform administration.
• Develop integrations using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across security platforms, applications, operating systems, networks, and identity services.
• Collaborate with Security Architects, Engineers, SOC Analysts, and Incident Responders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years supporting large IT/security environments.
• Strong hands-on Python security automation experience.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with IAM, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, cloud security, and security integrations.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture, incident response, networking, access control, and cybersecurity frameworks.
PREFERRED:
• CISSP, Security+, GIAC, or relevant cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Tenable, Cribl, or WhatsUp Gold.
• Experience developing security playbooks, runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation.
