Job description

Job Title:  Information Security Analyst, Journeyman 
Location:  Kirtland AFB, NM
Clearance:  Active TS with SSBI and eligible for SCI
The Journeyman-Level Information Security Analyst supports the Air Force at Kirtland AFB, NM, providing information assurance and cybersecurity support on the local tenant infrastructure and systems.
Responsibilities: The contractor shall have a dedicated person without elevated privileges due to separation of duties to manage and/or assist the government IA team with the following:  • Audit reviews and reporting, including daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports  • User account management for both internal networks and KAFB networks  • Media control and transfer requests; Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)  • C&A efforts for achieving and maintaining ATOs including, documentation, reporting, technical design and implementation  • COMSEC management in coordination with Memorandum of Agreement with AFRL  • Software/hardware approval  • Equipment inventory and destruction • Manage team certification tracking and coordinate with IT Project Manager to report and facilitate renewals
 Required Skills and Capabilities: 
Knowledge of USAF COMCEC processes
Knowledge of RMF processes supporting ATO and overall reporting
Ability to respond to incidents, notifications and integrated incident response with other organizations
Knowledge of IT security issues and concerns
Educational and / or Experience Requirements: 
Minimum HS diploma, 
SEC+CE or higher, CISSP or equivalent
Microsoft operating system and security certification
COMSEC training
