Prescient Edge is seeking a Security and Compliance Administrator to support a Federal Government client. Please note that the availability of this position is contingent upon contract award. Description: * Monitor and enforce security policies for data storage, access, and usage, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity mandates. * Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, including System Security Plan (SSP) development, security assessments, and continuous monitoring of vulnerabilities. * Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to track security incidents, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 and DoD IL 4/IL-5 requirements. Submit the Security & Risk Assessment Report, detailing security posture, ATO status updates, and compliance remediation efforts. Job Requirements Experience: * Possess the knowledge and capability to implement and maintain security and compliance frameworks across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring adherence to DoD IL 4/IL-5, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 security controls. * Personnel must be proficient in security risk assessments, identity and access management (IAM), continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response. * Strong knowledge of zero-trust architecture, security automation, and compliance reporting is required. * Personnel must have demonstrated experience in conducting security audits, enforcing security policies, managing security tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and identity management solutions, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks. * Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus is required Education: * A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in security and compliance management * Desirable but not required certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
