Summary of the Job:

Investment Operations Associate supports the investment team by providing accurate trade input, platform administration and end-of-day processing across trading and portfolio management platforms. The role plays a key part in maintaining operational continuity through providing support and backup coverage and ensuring stakeholders are provided with timely, reliable reporting across Wealth Management investment platforms.

About This Role:

Operational and Trade Support for Investment Functions

  • Partner with the fixed income team to accurately input and upload trades across platforms
  • Execute end of day processes for trading and reporting platforms
  • Maintain data integrity across all trade activities
  • Assist with trade settlement issues

Platform Administration and Maintenance

  • Update and maintain portfolio management (APX) and trading platforms (Moxy) including:
    • Importing and updating prices
    • Account opening, closing and ongoing maintenance
    • Account coding updates

Reconciliation and Backup Coverage

  • Serve as backup support for daily reconciliation
  • Coordinate reconciliation with various custodians
  • Ensure continuity and accuracy during staff absences and/or peak periods

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Produce timely and accurate reporting for both client-facing and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Document processes to support consistency and knowledge transfer

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to precision across trade, platform and reconciliation activities
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem solving skills applied to data, discrepancies and process gaps
  • Industry Knowledge/Financial Systems Proficiency: Experience with APX, Moxy, TrustDesk, Raymond James Advisor Access or equivalent systems; understanding of the trade settlement process
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external custodians
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and execute accurately under time sensitive conditions
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines independently

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team-oriented and deadline driven environment

Desired:

  • Experience with securities operations
  • Knowledge of bank systems and platforms
  • Familiarity with Advent APX/Moxy
  • Understanding of fiduciary services and regulatory requirements

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $45,228.00-$72,365.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
