What You Bring to the Table:
  • AAS or BS in Construction Management or Construction Engineering. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in the construction industry in a management or leadership role. Experience overseeing and managing large structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience managing large scale multi-million-dollar project work across different construction vertical markets.
  • Experience managing the installation of mission critical infrastructure for data center new build and retrofit projects is highly preferred.
  • Experienced in managing all contracting and project delivery methods - lump sum / fixed price, cost plus, GMP, unit price / rate, design-build, time and material.
  • Experience managing construction teams of 50-100+ technicians on project sites.
  • Experience with industry leading manufacturer products and solutions.
  • Preferred professional certifications:
    • OSHA-30 Hour certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment)
    • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
    • BICSI Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM)
    • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will have direct reports.
Work Location and Travel:
On project site daily in DEKALB, IL with up to 15% travel
