Job description

The Eye Clinic at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, part of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a motivated optometrist to join our MD/OD eye care team in a full-time position. While the primary emphasis will be on providing medical eye care, the successful candidate will also be providing comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, diagnosing and treating eye diseases and other specialties the candidate can bring to the practice. We have a dedicated staff of doctors, ophthalmic technicians and secretaries in our very busy and growing practice and deliver our care in a well-equipped, caring, friendly, small-town and professional environment. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, the ability to learn our EMR, and to be licensed (or eligible to be so) in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
This full-time position will cover two offices, one in Hanover, NH and the other in Windsor, VT with hours of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; no weekends or call. We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package. Our location is situated in the middle of the green and white mountains, and just 2 hours from Boston, MA and Burlington, VT.
Salary: $140,000 - $165,000
