Job Summary
The Greeter/Host is the welcoming face of our Tasting Rooms. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, managing reservations and waitlists, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment guests arrive.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
  • Manage seating chart and assign tables based on server rotation and guest needs.
  • Maintain waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide general restaurant information.
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management regarding guest flow.
  • Monitor dining room activity to support table turnover and seating efficiency.
  • Assist with basic cleaning and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Support takeout or pickup orders as needed.

  • Previous customer service or host/hostess experience preferred.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
