If you're an experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Owner Operator looking for a serious revenue opportunity, it's time to partner with a company that has been moving freight, supporting drivers, and building relationships for more than 40 years.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Safely transporting propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and surrounding states
  • Loading from major supply terminals throughout the Midwest
  • Delivering product safely and professionally to commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers
  • Operating pumps, hoses, valves, and tanker equipment
  • Completing inspections and maintaining DOT compliance
  • Managing ELD logs and Hours of Service requirements
  • Maintaining hazardous materials and tanker safety standards
  • Representing DHT professionally with customers and the public

SCHEDULE
  • Regional / OTR propane operation based in the Fort Wayne market
  • Typical schedule: 5 days out, 2 days home
  • One weekend day availability required
  • Season expected to begin around August
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat Endorsement Required
  • Tanker Endorsement Required
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A experience
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely handle hoses, valves, and tanker equipment
  • Commitment to safety, customer service, and professionalism
OWNER OPERATOR EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • DOT-compliant tractor
  • Must pass DHT inspection upon sign-on
  • ELD required
  • Hydropack / wet kit required
  • Current insurance and registration documentation
  • Ability to maintain DOT compliance standards
