What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee the daily maintenance operation while ensuring our resort remains safe, beautiful, and operating at the highest standards.

You'll lead a talented maintenance team while managing:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire the maintenance team
  • Create weekly schedules that maximize productivity and guest service
  • Provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance coaching
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence

Preventative Maintenance & Operations

  • Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs
  • Prioritize daily work orders, repairs, and capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and project timelines
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and department expenses alongside the General Manager
  • Ensure maintenance costs remain within budget

Resort Facilities & Equipment

Maintain and oversee:

  • Buildings and common areas
  • Rental cabins and accommodations
  • Pools and resort amenities
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing and electrical systems
  • Appliances
  • Water heaters
  • Mechanical equipment
  • Vehicles and maintenance equipment

Grounds & Landscaping

Help keep Verde Ranch looking award-worthy by overseeing:

  • Irrigation maintenance
  • Lawn care and landscape enhancements

  • Storm cleanup

Requirements

  • Experience leading maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, resorts, RV parks, hotels, or multi-family communities
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general building maintenance
  • Experience with preventative maintenance planning
  • Budgeting and inventory management experience
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
