A Seasonal RN is a Registered Nurse hired on a temporary or contract basis, typically to help healthcare facilities manage increased patient loads during busy seasons, such as flu season or holidays. The '$20K Sign-On Bonus' refers to a financial incentive offered to attract qualified nurses, paid either as a lump sum or in installments after certain employment milestones are met. To excel as a Seasonal RN, you need a current RN license, strong clinical skills, and experience in acute care or relevant specialties. These competencies ensure that seasonal nurses can provide high-quality patient care and support healthcare facilities during peak demand periods.

What unique challenges does a seasonal RN face and how can I prepare for them?

As a Seasonal RN, you may encounter challenges such as quickly adapting to new clinical environments, learning facility-specific protocols, and integrating with established teams during busy periods.
