Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 or more based on experience

Availability: Rotating 40-hour schedule that includes daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays

This is a full-time hourly position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance.

Hershey's Chocolate World Tour Ride Senior Area Coordinator supports the chocolate making Tour Ride attraction inside Hershey's Chocolate World. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all operational aspects are executed flawlessly and that each guest has an exceptional experience within the attraction. This position requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects the Senior Area Coordinator to be approachable, courteous, and knowledgeable about our products, be able to clearly communicate with guests and assist them with questions, as well as provide general information to guests with a high level of professionalism. This position will perform other related duties in the Attractions Department to meet business needs.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Day-to-day operations of Tour Ride to include operators and VIP attendants

Act as a main point of contact for the Tour Ride

Train team members on protocol and operational procedures

Maintain training guide for new Tour Ride employees

Keep team members and leaders informed about the Tour Ride operation

Partner with the Scheduling Team to ensure proper staffing levels

Partner with Attractions leaders to problem solve guests' issues that arise within the Tour Ride attraction

Partner with Warehouse to order supplies

Partner with Groups and Events staff to ensure proper staffing for Tour Ride seasonal events

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

Excellent verbal and written communications and customer-service skills

Must be able to perform all duties on the Tour Ride including duties of the VIP Attendant and Tour Ride Operator

Must be comfortable with public speaking

Strong attention to detail

Ability to react quickly and remain calm and professional in special/crisis situations

Ability to interact with large groups

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Ability to be productive in fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Process improvement oriented

Must be approachable, showing that our guests are our priority

Must initiate contact with our guests by being courteous and greeting them with a smile

Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs

Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience: 1 year of customer service and relevant ride experience is required
