WHAT OUR RIDE SUPERVISORS DO

Ride Supervisors oversee the daily operation of rides and attractions throughout the park. This role is responsible for supervising Ride Operators, ensuring all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed, maintaining efficient ride operations, and providing leadership on the floor to support Guests and team members. Ride Supervisors act as safety leaders, operational experts, and Guest experience champions.

A RIDE SUPERVISOR'S DAYTODAY
  • Supervise, support, and coach Ride Operators to ensure safe and efficient ride operation
  • Ensure all rides and attractions are operated in compliance with Federal, State, manufacturer, and company safety regulations
  • Conduct and verify daily ride inspections prior to opening and throughout operating hours
  • Oversee ride opening and closing procedures and ensure proper documentation is completed
  • Monitor ride operations to ensure correct loading, restraint checks, and guest flow
  • Enforce height, weight, age, and wristband requirements for all rides and attractions
  • Maintain constant vigilance during ride operation and respond quickly to safety concerns or emergencies
  • Serve as the escalation point for Guest concerns related to rides and attractions
  • Communicate riderelated issues, incidents, or mechanical concerns to management and maintenance immediately
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for rides and attractions and assist with realtime adjustments
  • Train, audit, and mentor Ride Operators to ensure compliance and performance standards are met
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and exceptional Guest service
  • Assist with crowd control, queue management, and ride capacity monitoring
  • Ensure lost and found procedures are followed and guest belongings are handled properly
  • Assist in other park departments as needed to support overall operations
  • Perform all other duties assigned by leadership
WHAT IT TAKES
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior experience operating rides or supervising in an amusement, attractions, or entertainment environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decisionmaking skills
  • Proven safetyoriented mindset with the ability to enforce policies consistently
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in highenergy or emergency situations
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed operational procedures
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to comply with all uniform and appearance standards
  • Successful completion of the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course is required (provided at no cost)

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Typical entertainment and waterpark environment where you'll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance. You'll work outdoors in various weather conditions and remain highly alert throughout your shift.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.
