Smith Gardens is hiring Seasonal Merchandisers!
Smith Gardens, the largest annual and perennial grower in the Pacific Northwest, has an exciting opportunity for seasonal merchandisers to join our team!
We are hiring to fill seasonal merchandising positions to work 16-35 hours a week in your local area big-box retail garden centers - Snohomish, WA (hours may vary depending on store sales and ship volume).
  • Do you enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment?
  • Are you comfortable lifting and carrying plants and products throughout your shift?
  • Do you feel confident pushing and pulling rolling racks of beautiful plants? They can be heavy!
  • Are you someone who doesn't mind frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting?
  • Do you enjoy working outdoors and embracing all kinds of weather?
  • Are you a team player who communicates well and brings a great attitude?
  • Do you have reliable transportation?

This role keeps you active throughout the day and requires the ability to push and pull fully loaded rolling racks (approximately 50-150 lbs), operate pallet jacks (with your team) with shrubs and small trees (approximately 150 lbs), lift and carry plants, planters, and fixtures ranging from 5-50 lbs, build displays using blocks, boards, and pallets, and work comfortably outdoors in all weather conditions.
