DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for a GIS Analyst to work onsite with one of our direct clients in Las Vegas NV.

Job Title: GIS Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location: Las Vegas NV, 89106


***Normal work hours are between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM PST, Monday through Thursday. ***

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Minimum (4) years work experience in GIS or related field.
  3. Demonstrated attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Intermediate experience using ArcGIS software to create/edit data and create/modify static and web maps.
  6. Ability to learn Elections software Total Vote and Total Address for processing Elections data into Elections system.
  7. Ability to organize, review, and clean up GIS data and project files across multiple platforms.
  8. Intermediate experience with Microsoft products.
  9. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with IT staff and other departmental GIS personnel.

Intermediate proficiency with GIS software/platforms:

  • ArcGIS Pro
  • ArcGIS Online
  • ArcGIS Enterprise

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GIS programming languages python, arcade, SQL.
