Maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected "Jack of All Trades" team members, performing mechanical and fabrication updates and using their knowledge to improve production processes.  What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for the efficient flow of product through the assigned area and the minor repair and maintenance of all machinery in the assigned area.
  • Train seasonal in the proper, safe, and efficient operation of the machinery to which they are assigned.
  • Supervise seasonal employees in their day-to-day duties.
  • Handle minor personnel problems. Refer major problems to the Supervisor.
  • Will assist in any number of maintenance activities including assisting machine repair/overhaul,
  • cleaning, building walkways and work platforms, and assisting in the installation of new processing
  • equipment.

 What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year related experience and/or training.Positive attitude
  • Must possess a complete set of tools for industrial maintenance.
  • Must have general knowledge of both gas and arc, how to cut and thread pipe, bolt and thread sizes, how to fasten pulleys and sprockets on shafts, and how to adjust conveyors.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Safety mindset
