Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $1,000-$1,700/week - Based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary
Embark on a unique seasonal assignment by relocating to a premier northern summer camp. This role allows clinical practitioners to deliver high-quality medical care-ranging from routine first aid to comprehensive health coordination-while enjoying a restorative, outdoor-focused "working vacation" away from their typical clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver daily medical attention and first aid to the campus population within a residential framework
  • Oversee the secure intake, logging, and accurate dispensing of all camper and staff medications
  • Evaluate and manage common health issues, seasonal allergies, and athletic injuries
  • Keep precise, confidential electronic medical records and daily treatment documentation
  • Collaborate with local healthcare facilities and on-site Medical Directors for escalated clinical situations
  • Engage with the camp community by leading safety briefings and health orientations
  • Maintain clear, professional correspondence with parents and program directors regarding participant health
  • Serve as a welcoming, steady, and proactive clinical figure in the campus wellness center
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid, active certification or licensure as an EMT, LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner
  • Commitment to temporarily relocate to a northern state (such as MA, WI, ME, or NY) for the summer
  • Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Capacity to reside on-campus and participate in a shared, rotating on-call schedule
  • Solid clinical assessment capabilities and comfort practicing in a youth-oriented, outdoor setting
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and collaborative habits

  • Professional background in urgent care, emergency medicine, school health, or pediatrics
