Job description

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving (40%)

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against POs and packing slips.

• Log receipts in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and stage inventory.

• Prepare outbound shipments: pick tickets, packing, labeling, BOLs, and carrier pickups.

• Load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (sit-down/stand-up).

• Report discrepancies, damages, and inventory issues promptly.

Stocking / Inventory (30%)

• Stock shelves, bins, and racks; maintain bin locations and labeling.

• Rotate stock using FIFO/FEFO and assist with cycle counts and annual inventory.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas according to 5S standards.

• Support replenishment to ensure pick faces are at correct levels.

Order Fulfillment (30%)

• Pick customer orders using RF scanners/pick lists with high accuracy.

• Pack oversize cartons and parcel packages to prevent damage and reduce shipping costs.

• Create shipping labels and prepare orders for parcel/LTL carriers.

• Meet daily targets for picks/hour, order accuracy, and dock-to-ship time.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

• 5= year in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or related role.

• Basic computer skills (WMS/ERP familiarity, email).

• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).

• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl).

• Familiarity with carrier platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).

• Knowledge of 5S, FIFO/FEFO, and basic Lean concepts.

• Safety shoe/PPE stipend

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures (seasonal).

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling carts.

• Manual handling of packages up to 75 lbs with team lifts required

• Regular use of pallet jacks, forklifts
